FLOW North

FLOW is working on issues in Northern Oregon including our long-standing effort to protect the Sand Lake Estuary & Dunes from development. FLOW is also actively engaged in monitoring, restoration and habitat protection in the Columbia River basin.

  • FLOW is working with community groups throughout the Columbia River to protect the Columbia River and its tributaries.
  • FLOW helped to stage the recent Climate Convergence, which brought a wide range of activists into the Estuary to learn about the ecology of the Columbia and efforts to protect the Columbia River from dirty energy facilities.
  • Helping to protect and restore Oregon's Wild and Scenic Rivers in the Columbia Basin. FLOW has been active in monitoring timber and cattle grazing activities.
  • Advocating for the protection of Sand Lake Estuary on the Northern Oregon Coast from development.
